1. WHY MATERNITY?
We started TheRY maternity understanding the physiological benefits that compression can provide. We had many pregnant friends & family (including Clyde's own daughter), experiencing pregnancy aches & pains, swollen feet & fatigue, & knew how compression could help.
Being aware that a good pair of leggings is a wardrobe staple, we soon realised the shortcomings of the offering currently available in the market.
We knew we could do better & could have a greater appeal to modern mamas. We are fast becoming the brand of choice for those who discover us.

2. THE OTHER BRANDS
There are many maternity leggings, but why settle for just any legging?
While there are some good products, we found, none offered modern style, comfort, quality as well as the compression benefits to help support through pregnancy. We found:
"THE ORDINARY"
There are maternity leggings that provide no other benefits, they are simply leggings with no physiological benefits. They vary in quality & style.
"THE IMPOSTERS"
There are brands who claim 'compression' in their leggings but they are not made to any specifications. They offer nothing more than a 'tight garment'. These will not have any therapeutic or medical accreditation and may cause harm if too tight.
"THE SAME OLD SAME OLD"
There are some brands with true compression but they have been around for decades. The designs have not been updated, and their fabrics have not evolved. They may not be the most comfortable or flattering option. Their outdated designs and fabrics do not appeal to mamas of today.
